Maharshi Debendranath Tagore’s house in Jorasanko
Mathur Babu and Sri Sri Thakur came to this house to meet Maharshi Debendranath Tagore (father of Rabindranath Tagore). It is not known which room the meeting took place in. The meeting was described in the Kathamrita on October 26, 1884. At present, this house and the other buildings in the complex serve as centers for the various activities of the Rabindra Society and Rabindra-Bharati University.

জোড়াসাঁকোতে মহর্ষি দেবেন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের বাড়ি
বর্তমান ঠিকানা : ৬/৪, দ্বারকানাথ ঠাকুর রোড, কলিকাতা-৭।
মথুরবাবুর সঙ্গে শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুর এই বাড়িতে মহর্ষি দেবেন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের ( রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের পিতা) সঙ্গে দেখা করিতে আসিয়াছিলেন। ঠিক কোন ঘরে সাক্ষাৎ হইয়াছিল তাহা এখন জানা যায় না। ২৬-১০-১৮৮৪ তারিখে কথামৃতে এই প্রসঙ্গ আছে। বর্তমানে এই বাড়িটি ও অন্যান্য বাড়িগুলি রবীন্দ্র সোসাইটি ও রবীন্দ্র-ভারতী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কর্ম কেন্দ্র।
