Sri Ramakrishna’s Room
Sri Sri Thakur SriRamakrishna lived in a room on the north-west side of the Dakshineswar temple premises for a long period of 14 years. During this period, many saints, scholars, close devotees, householders and renunciates used to visit him in this room to have discourses on God and also to hear from him of the days of his Sadhana. Kirtan, Bhajan and other devotional used to be sung in this room where devotees would witness him going into Samadhi so very often. He used to stand on the crescent-shaped verandah on the west side of this room and look at the Ganges. In this room, at present Sr Sri Thakur’s cots and pictures are kept and worshipped daily.

শ্রীরামকৃষ্ণের ঘর
মন্দির প্রাঙ্গনের উত্তর-পশ্চিমদিকের কক্ষটিতে শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুর দীর্ঘ ১৪ বৎসর কাল বাস করিয়াছেন। এই কালে কত সাধু, পণ্ডিত, ভক্ত, তাঁহার অন্তরঙ্গ গৃহী ও ত্যাগী ভক্তবৃন্দের সঙ্গে ভগবৎপ্রসঙ্গ, তাঁহার সাধনকালের কথা, কীর্তন, ভজন, ভাব, সমাধি অনুষ্ঠিত হইয়াছিল। এই ঘরের পশ্চিমদিকের অর্ধচন্দ্রাকৃতি বারান্দায় দাঁড়াইয়া গঙ্গাদর্শন করিতেন। এই ঘরে বর্তমানে শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুরের তক্তাপোশ, চৌকীর উপর তাঁহার ফটো সযত্নে রক্ষিত হইয়া নিত্য পূজাদি হয়।
