Thakur used to bring goodluck by visiting them during Durgotsab related events at their house on Bachaspati Para Road in Dakshineswar. He also went there to listen to Nilakantha’s Ballard.

দক্ষিণেশ্বরের বাচস্পতি পাড়া রোডে ঠাকুর তাঁহাদের বাড়িতে দুর্গোৎসবাদিতে নিমন্ত্রিত হইয়া শুভাগমন করিতেন। নীলকণ্ঠের যাত্রাগান শুনিতেও গিয়াছিলেন।
