The house of Maharaja Jatindra Mohan Tagore at Pathuriaghata
Sri Sri Thakur came to this house with ‘Captain’ (Viswanath Upadhyay). Earlier, Thakur met Jatindra Mohan once in the garden house of Jadulal Mallik in Dakshineswar. There they had discussions on the necessity and usefulness of contemplation of God. On the day Thakur visited his house, Saurindra Mohan the younger brother of Jatindra Mohan received and talked to him. But Jatindra Mohan did not meet Thakur conveying that he was having ‘throat pain’. In Kathamrita, the event has been mentioned in the description of day 15th October 1882.

পাথুরিয়াঘাটায় মহারাজা যতীন্দ্র মোহন ঠাকুরের বাড়ি
কাপ্তেনের সঙ্গে এই বাড়িতে শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুর আসিয়াছিলেন। পূর্বে একবার যতীন্দ্রমোহনের সঙ্গে যদুলাল মল্লিকের দক্ষিণেশ্বরের বাগানে দেখা ও তাঁহার সঙ্গে ‘ঈশ্বর চিন্তা করাই কর্তব্য’ বিষয়ে কতাবার্তা হইয়াছিল। শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুরের আগমন দিবসে যতীন্দ্রমোহনের কনিষ্ঠ ভ্রাতা সৌরীন্দ্রমোহনের সহিত কথাবার্তা তাঁহার বাড়িতেই হয়। কিন্তু যতীন্দ্রমোহন ‘গলার বেদনার কথা’ জানাইয়া দেখা করেন নাই। ১৫-১০-১৮৮২ তারিখে কথামৃতে ইহার উল্লেখ আছে।
