It has been mentioned in Kathamrita that Sri Sri Thakur along with the devotees watched in Star Theater three plays viz., ‘Chaitanya Leela’ on 21st September 1884, ‘Prahlad Charitra’ on 18th December 1884 and ‘Brishaketu’ on 25th February 1885. Both Emerald Theater and Classic Theater used to stage their plays in this theater in Beadon Street. Later Kohinoor and Manomohan Theater also used to perform on the stage of Star Theater.

কথামৃতে আছে ২১-৯-১৮৮৪ তারিখে শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুর ভক্তসঙ্গে এখানে ‘চৈতন্যলীলা’ দর্শন, ১৮-১২-১৮৮৪ তারিখে প্রহ্লাদ চরিত্র এবং ২৫-২-১৮৮৫ তারিখে বৃষকেতু অভিনয় দর্শনে শুভাগমন করিয়াছিলেন। বিডন স্ট্রীটের এই রঙ্গমঞ্চ পরে এমারেল্ড থিয়েটার ও ক্লাসিক থিয়েটারের আভিনয় হইত। পরে কোহিনূর ও মনোমোহন থিয়েটার এখানে হয়।
