Sadharon Brahmo Samaj
It is located in Thanthane area (211 Bidhan Sarani) established by eminent Brahmo leaders like Pandit Shivnath Shastri, Acharya Vijay Krishna and others. Thakur went to Sadharon Brahmo Samaj a few times. The creation of Sadharon Brahmo Samaj in 1878 and the establishment of Samaj Mandir in 1881 was the result of disagreement with Keshab Chandra Sen, the founder and leader of Nava Vidhan Brahmo Samaj, the later name of Bharatvarshiya Brahmo Samaj.

পণ্ডিত শিবনাথ শাস্ত্রী, আচার্য বিজয়কৃষ্ণ প্রমুখ বিশিষ্ট ব্রাহ্ম নেতাদের প্রতিষ্ঠিত ঠনঠনে অঞ্চলে (২১১ বিধান সরণী) অবস্থিত।
সাধারণ ব্রাহ্মসমাজে কয়েকবার শুভাগমন করিয়াছিলেন। নববিধান তথা ভারতবর্ষীয় ব্রাহ্মসমাজের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা ও নেতা কেশবচন্দ্র সেনের সঙ্গে মতবিরোধের ফলে ১৮৭৮ খ্রীষ্টাব্দে এই সাধারণ ব্রাহ্মসমাজের সৃষ্টি এবং ১৮৮১ খ্রীষ্টাব্দে সমাজমন্দিরের প্রতিষ্ঠা।
