Rani Rasmoni’s house in Janbazar – current address – 13, Rani Rasmoni Road, Kolkata-87
Thakur Sri Ramakrishna used to stay in this two-storey house whenever he visited Rani’s house in Janbazar. The cot used by him is still preserved there. Mathur Babu, because of his unswerving devotion towards Thakur and desire to spend more time with him, used to bring Sri Sri Thakur from Dakshineswar and serve him here over a long period of time. Not only they used to dine and move together, but also used to sleep in the same room. There are descriptions in ‘Lila Prasanga’ of many incidents that took place during Sadhana (spiritual practice) of Sri Sri Thakur here in the Sakhi Bhava (worshipping the Supreme as a confidante and beloved).

বর্তমান ঠিকানা — ১৩ নং, রানী রাসমণি রোড, কলিকাতা-৮৭, জানবাজারে রানীর বাড়িতে আসিলে ঠাকুর শ্রীরামকৃষ্ণ এই দোতলা বাড়িটিতে বাস করিতেন। তাঁহার ব্যবহৃত খাটটি এখনও আছে। মথুরবাবুর প্রবলভক্তি বিশ্বাসের ফলে শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুরকে অধিক সময় নিকটে পাইবার আকাঙ্ক্ষায় তাঁহাকে দক্ষিণেশ্বর হইতে লইয়া আসিয়া দীর্ঘকাল সেবা করিতেন। একত্রে আহার, বিহার, এমনকি একই কক্ষে শয়ন পর্যন্ত করিয়াছেন। শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুরের সখীভাব সাধন কালে এখানে অনুষ্ঠিত অনেক ঘটনার বিবরণ ‘লীলাপ্রসঙ্গে’ আছে।
