Rajmohan Basu’s House
In the evening of 16th November 1882, Sri Ramakrishna came to Brahmo devotee Rajmohan Basu’s house in the Simulia area to see Narendra (later Swami Vivekananda) and other boys offering prayer in the Brahmo Samaj. Later, he had refreshments in the house of Rajmohan. Before coming to this place, in the evening, Sri Ramakrishna had been to Garanhata (presently Nimtala Street), where he went to the Akhara (institution to protect and promote religious practices) of the Vaishnava sadhus and had the Darshan (auspicious sight) of the Sharabhuz (six-armed) Mahaprabhu.
At present, there is no existence of this place.
রাজমোহন বসুর বাড়ি
১৮৮২ খ্রীষ্টাব্দের ১৬ই নভেম্বর সন্ধ্যার কিছু পরে , শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুর সিমুলিয়ায় ব্রাহ্ম ভক্ত রাজমোহন বসুর বাড়িতে নরেন্দ্র প্রভৃতি যুবকদের ব্রাহ্মসমাজের উপাসনা দেখিতে আসিয়াছিলেন। শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুর যুবকদের উপাসনা দেখিবার পর ওই গৃহে জলযোগ করিয়াছিলেন। সেইদিন (১৬.১১.১৮৮২) বৈকালে ব্রাহ্মভক্ত রাজমোহন বসুর বাড়িতে শুভাগমনের পূর্বে ঠাকুর শ্রীরামকৃষ্ণ গরাণহাটায় (বর্তমানে নিমতলা স্ট্রীটে) বৈষ্ণব সাধুদের আখড়ায় ষড়ভূজ মহাপ্রভু দর্শন করিয়াছিলেন।
বর্তমানে এই বাড়িটির কোন অস্তিত্ব নাই।
