Nahabatkhana (a tower from where an assortment of many musical instruments are played)
Nahabat (drum, dhak, instruments) was played six times a day from the two nahabatkhanas situated outside of the temple on the north and south side . Not anymore. Thakur’s mother Chandramani Devi used to live in the Nahabatkhana on the north side. In the lower room, Sri Srima lived for a long time during her stay in Dakshineswar. Now in this house there is daily worship of the photo of Sri Srima.

নহবতখানা (একটি টাওয়ার যেখান থেকে অনেক বাদ্যযন্ত্র বাজানো হয়)
মন্দির প্রাঙ্গণের বাহিরে উত্তর ও দক্ষিণে অবস্থিত দুইটি নহবতখানা হইতে পূর্বে দিনে ছয়বার নহবত বাজানো হত। এখন আর হয় না। উত্তর দিকের নহবতখানার ঘরে ঠাকুরের মাতা চন্দ্রামণিদেবী বাস করিতেন। নিচের ঘরে শ্রীশ্রীমা দক্ষিণেশ্বরে অবস্থানকালে দীর্ঘদিন বাস করিয়াছিলেন। এখন এই ঘরে শ্রীশ্রীমায়ের ফটোতে নিত্য পূজা হয়।
