In the museum, he saw remains of once-living plants and animals preserved as rock (fossil). Likewise, he said, association with the saints helps one to become a saint. To commemorate his auspicious visit, a beautiful staue of Sri Ramakrishna has been installed in the fourth-floor-hall of the new building of the Society. It may also be mentioned that the Society has paid tribute to Swami Vivekananda by installing his statue, creating Vivekananda Chair and appointing professor to teach his life and ideals. Current address is no.1 Park Street, Kolkata-16. ‘The Asiatic Society’ is inscribed in small letters on a white marble on the right side pillar of the main gate.

মিউজিয়ামে দেখিয়াছিলেন জানোয়ার পাথর (fossil) হইয়া গিয়াছে। ইহাতে সাধু সঙ্গে উপমা দিয়া বলিয়াছিলেন, সাধুসঙ্গের ফলে মানুষও সাধু হইয়া যায়।
এখানে শ্রীরামকৃষ্ণের শুভাগমনের স্মৃতি রক্ষার জন্য সোসাইটির নূতন বাড়ির চারতলার হল ঘরে তাঁহার একটি সুন্দর প্রতিকৃতি স্থাপিত হইয়াছে। প্রসঙ্গত উল্লেখযোগ্য স্বামী বিবেকানন্দের প্রতিও শ্রদ্ধা প্রকাশ করিয়া সোসাইটি তাঁহার একটি প্রতিকৃতি স্থাপন ও বিবেকানন্দ অধ্যাপকের পদ সৃষ্টি ও অদ্যাপক নিয়োগ করিয়াছেন। বর্তমান ঠিকানা ১ নং পার্ক স্ট্রীট কলিকাতা-১৬। প্রধান ফটকের ডানদিকের পিলারে শ্বেতপাথরের ফলকে ছোট অক্ষরে লেখা আছে (The Asiatic Society).
