On18th June1883, Thakur and his entourage visited this Thakurbari and Jhil (large pond) in the evening on the way back from the Panihati festival.

১৮-৬-১৮৮৩ তারিখে ঠাকুর সদলবলে পানিহাটীর মহোৎসবে হইতে ফিরিবার পথে সন্ধ্যার সময় এই ঠাকুরবাড়ি ও ঝিল দর্শন করেন।
