Maharshi Debendranath Tagore’s house in Jorasanko
current address 6/4, Dwarkanath Tagore Road, Kolkata-7
Mathur Babu and Sri Sri Thakur came to this house to meet Maharshi Debendranath. It is not known in which room the meeting took place. The meeting has been described in Kathamrita on day 26th October 1884. At present this house and the other houses in the complex are the centres for various activities of Rabindra Society and Rabindra-Bharati University.

জোড়াসাঁকোতে মহর্ষি দেবেন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের বাড়ি
মহর্ষি দেবেন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের বাড়ি — বর্তমান ঠিকানা ৬/৪, দ্বারকানাথ ঠাকুর রোড, কলিকাতা-৭। মথুরবাবুর সঙ্গে শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুর এই বাড়িতে মহর্ষির সঙ্গে দেখা করিতে আসিয়াছিলেন। ঠিক কোন ঘরে সাক্ষাৎ হইয়াছিল তাহা এখন জানা যায় না। ২৬-১০-১৮৮৪ তারিখে কথামৃতে এই প্রসঙ্গ আছে। বর্তমানে এই বাড়িটি ও অন্যান্য বাড়িগুলি রবীন্দ্র সোসাইটি ও রবীন্দ্র-ভারতী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কর্ম কেন্দ্র।
