Khardaha Shyamsunder Temple
The temple of Sri Radha ShyamSundar is located on the east bank of the Ganges, two miles west of Khardaha railway station in the district of North-24 Parganas. On 29.7.1874, Sri Ramakrishna was escorted in a boat by one of the descendants of Prabhu Nityananda Goswami (Pandit Jadav Kishore Goswami) from Dakshineswar to Khardaha, where he had the auspicious sight of the deity Sri Shyam Sundar jiu. Sri Ramakrishna then visited Jadav Kishore Goswami’s house on Raskhola Road, where he partook prasad (the food which was distributed after being offered to the deity).

Directions : On BT Road, the road approaching the river Ganga from the Khardah Police Station is called Thana Road. The temple of Sri Sri ShyamSundar Jiu is located in Goswami Para near the intersection of Mohitmohan Goswami Road while going straight by the Thana Road.

উত্তর-চব্বিশ পরগণা জেলার খড়দহ রেলস্টেশন হইতে দুই মাইল পশ্চিমে গঙ্গার পূর্বকূলে শ্রীশ্রীরাধাশ্যামসুন্দরের মন্দির। ১৮৭৪ খ্রীষ্টাব্দের ২৯ শে জুলাই ( ১২৮১ বঙ্গাব্দের ১৪ই শ্রাবণ ) ঠাকুর শ্রীরামকৃষ্ণ একবার দক্ষিণেশ্বর হইতে নৌকায় প্রভু নিত্যানন্দ বংশীয় পন্ডিত যাদব কিশোর গোস্বামীর সহিত খড়দহে আগমন করিয়া শ্রীশ্রীশ্যামসুন্দর জীউয়ের শ্রীবিগ্রহ দর্শন করিয়াছিলেন এবং রাসখোলা রোডে তাঁর গৃহে (বালাখানা বাড়ি)পদাৰ্পণ করিয়া শ্রী শ্রী শ্যামসুন্দর জীউয়ের প্রসাদী ভোগ গ্রহণ করিয়াছিলেন।

পথ নির্দেশ : বিটি রোডে খড়দহ থানার পাশ দিয়ে গঙ্গামুখী রাস্তাটির নাম থানা রোড। এই থানা রোড ধরে সরাসরি মোহিতমোহন গোস্বামী রোডের প্রায় সংযোগস্থলে গোস্বামী পাড়ার মধ্যে শ্রী শ্রী শ্যামসুন্দর জীউয়ের এই মন্দির।
