Joy Mitra’s Kalibari
Sri Ramakrishna visited devotee Joy Mitra’s ‘Kripamoyee Kali Mandir’, located on the bank of the river Ganges in Barahanagar. This has been mentioned in the 22nd chapter of the fifteenth (15) part of Sri M Darshan. The south facing stone idol of the deity worshiped in this Navaratna Kali Temple is known as ‘Kripamoyee’. There are twelve Shiva Temples in the temple premises. The large temple compound surrounded by high wall is having an entrance gate decorated by two lion statues.

Directions : Harakumar Thakur Strand is the road on the northern side of Kuthighat on the bank of the river Ganga in Barahanagar. A little further ahead and on the right side of the road, the temple is located on the north of the Barahanagar Police Station.
জয় মিত্রের কালীবাড়ি
গঙ্গার ধারে বরাহনগরে ভক্তপ্রবর জয় মিত্রের কৃপাময়ী কালীমন্দিরে ঠাকুর শুভাগমন করিয়াছিলেন বলিয়া শ্রীম দর্শন গ্রন্থের পঞ্চদশ (১৫) ভাগের ২২তম অধ্যায়ে উল্লিখিত আছে। এই নবরত্ন কালী মন্দিরে পুজিতা দক্ষিণমুখী প্রস্তরময় দেবীর নাম ‘কৃপাময়ী’। মন্দির চত্বরে দ্বাদশটি শিবমন্দির। উচ্চ প্রাচীর দিয়ে ঘেরা বৃহৎ মন্দিরের অঙ্গনে প্রবেশপথের ফটকের উপর দুটি সিংহমূর্তি স্থাপিত।

পথনির্দেশ : বরাহনগরে গঙ্গার ধারে কুঠিঘাটের উত্তর দিকের রাস্তাটির নাম হরকুমার ঠাকুর স্ট্র্যান্ড। এই রাস্তায় কিছুটা এগিয়ে গেলে রাস্তার ডান দিকে বরাহনগর পুলিশ থানার কিছু উত্তরে ডান দিকে এই মন্দির।
