Jadulal Mallick’s House
at 67 Pathuria Ghata Street, Kolkata-6
Sri Ramakrishna sanctified more than once by visiting the palatial house of Jadulal Mallik situated in the Pathuriaghata region of North Kolkata. He used to come here to pay obeisance to the family deity of the Mallicks – Goddess Singhavahini. On 21.7.1883* Sri Ramakrishna entered the room in Jadu Mallicks’s house where the Divine Mother was worshipped. He stood before the image, and asked one of his companions to offer, according to the Hindu custom, a rupee in the shrine, thereby teaching the devotees the importance of the customary ritual. Sri Ramakrishna again visited Jadu Mallicks house on 18.12.83.**

যদুলাল মল্লিকের বাড়ি
উত্তর কলকাতায় পাথুরিয়াঘাটা অঞ্চলে পরমভক্ত যদুলাল মল্লিকের এই অট্টালিকায় ঠাকুর শ্রীরামকৃষ্ণের কয়েকবার শুভাগমন হইয়াছিল। শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুর মল্লিকদের এই বাড়ীতে তাঁদের কুলদেবী ৺সিংহবাহিনীকে দর্শন করিতে আসিতেন। ১৮৮৩ সালের ২১শে জুলাই* যদুলাল মল্লিকের বাটীর যে ঘরে ৺সিংহবাহিনীর নিত্যসেবা হইতেছিল, ঠাকুর শ্রীরামকৃষ্ণ সেই ঘরে ভক্তসঙ্গে উপস্থিত হইয়া তাদের মধ্যে একজনকে তিনি ৺সিংহবাহিনীকে প্রণাম করিতে বলিলেন এবং ঠাকুরের কাছে আসিলে যে টাকা দিয়ে প্রণামী দিতে হয় সেটা তিনি তাদের সেদিন বলিয়াছিলেন। ১৮৮৩ সালের ১৮ই ডিসেম্বর পুনরায় ঠাকুর শ্রীরামকৃষ্ণ যদুলাল মল্লিকের এই বাটীতে শুভাগমন করিয়াছিলেন। শ্রীশ্রীরামকৃষ্ণ কথামৃত গ্রন্থে যদুলাল মল্লিকের এই গৃহে শ্রীরামকৃষ্ণের শুভাগমনের দিনগুলির কথা উল্লেখিত হইয়াছে। *
