Surendranath Mitra’s house was near Narendranath’s house in Simulia and adjacent to Gourmohan Mukherjee Lane (behind the Oxford Mission). Sri Sri Thakur came to this house many times. This house has also been demolished.

Ram Babu first brought Sri Sri Thakur to this house at 11, Madhu Roy Lane, Simulia on the Baishakhi Purnima (full moon in the month of Baishakh, the first month of Bengali calendar) day.
Thakur visited many times Narendranath’s grandmother’s housea at no.7, Ramatanu Basu Lane not far from Narendra’s ancestral house. Narendranath lived in a secluded small room on the second floor of this house for the purpose of studying, singing, playing music etc.
Sri Sri Thakur used to come from time to time to see and inquire about Narendranath at his ancestral house at 3 Gaurmohan Mukherjee Street. According to the writings of Sri Mahendranath Dutta, Thakur never entered this house. However, according to Latu Maharaj (Swami Adbhutananda) and Master Mahasaya (Sri M – writer of Kathamrita), Thakur visited Narendra’s house and Latu Maharaj was with him.
On the occasion of the grand festival of Brahmo Samaj organized at Gyan Chowdhury’s house in Simulia, Sri Sri Thakur came there on 1st January,1882 and had divine discourse with Keshab and other members of Brahmo Samaj. Thakur sang and danced in ecstasy.
During his stay at Jhamapukur, Sri Ramakrishna (then Gadadhar) used to spend time in this shop on the Guruprasad Chowdhury Lane. Vaishnava Nakur Babaji was originally a native of Kamarpukur region, and was thus known to Sri Ramakrishna. This shop does not exist today.
Nather Bagan is presently located in the Sobhabazar region of North Kolkata. In 1853, when Sri Ramakrishna (then Gadadhar) accompanied his elder brother Ramkumar Chattopadhyay to Calcutta for the first time, they stayed here temporarily for a few days. Later, they left this temporary residence, and settled in the Jhamapukur region of North Calcutta (from 1853 to May 1855). The place where they lived in Nath’s Bagan Street, does not exist now.
