Sri Sri Thakur came here with other devotees to attend Annakoot (meaning “mountain of rice and food” offered to Bhagwan Sri Krishna) festival being celebrated by the Marwari devotees during Diwali. He paid homage to the deity with peacock feather in the crown (Bhagwan Sri Krishna) and took Prasad (sacramental food having offered to the deity).

২৩ নং সিমুলিয়া স্ট্রীটের এই বাড়িতে শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুর শুভাগমন করিয়াছিলেন। ৩-১২-১৮৮১ তারিখে এই বাড়িতে কেশব সেন ও অন্যান্য ভক্তদের সঙ্গে ভগবৎ প্রসঙ্গ ও কীর্তনানন্দের পরে আহারাদি করিয়াছিলেন — কথামৃতের পরিশিষ্টে ইহার বিবরণ আছে। কলিকাতায় আসিলে এখানে শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুর কিছুক্ষণ বিশ্রাম করিয়া অন্যত্র যাইতেন। বর্তমানে বাড়িটির হস্তান্তর হইয়াছে।
Surendranath Mitra’s house was near Narendranath’s house in Simulia and adjacent to Gourmohan Mukherjee Lane (behind the Oxford Mission). Sri Sri Thakur came to this house many times. This house has also been demolished.
Ram Babu first brought Sri Sri Thakur to this house at 11, Madhu Roy Lane, Simulia on the Baishakhi Purnima (full moon in the month of Baishakh, the first month of Bengali calendar) day.
On a late evening of 16th November 1882, Sri Sri Thakur came to Rajmohan’s house in Simulia to observe Narendra and other youths performing worship of Brahmo Samaj. Sri Sri Thakur after seeing the worship of the youth had refreshments in the house of Rajmohan.
Thakur visited many times Narendranath’s grandmother’s housea at no.7, Ramatanu Basu Lane not far from Narendra’s ancestral house. Narendranath lived in a secluded small room on the second floor of this house for the purpose of studying, singing, playing music etc.
Sri Sri Thakur used to come from time to time to see and inquire about Narendranath at his ancestral house at 3 Gaurmohan Mukherjee Street. According to the writings of Sri Mahendranath Dutta, Thakur never entered this house. However, according to Latu Maharaj (Swami Adbhutananda) and Master Mahasaya (Sri M – writer of Kathamrita), Thakur visited Narendra’s house and Latu Maharaj was with him.
On the occasion of the grand festival of Brahmo Samaj organized at Gyan Chowdhury’s house in Simulia, Sri Sri Thakur came there on 1st January,1882 and had divine discourse with Keshab and other members of Brahmo Samaj. Thakur sang and danced in ecstasy.
