Bengal Photographers’ Studio at Radhabazar
Surendranath Mitra brought Sri Sri Thakur to this place to show how photography is done. After showing him the technique of photography, a picture of Thakur was taken while he was standing in Samadhi state. This is the second photo of Sri Sri Thakur, the first being shot at Sri Keshab Chandra Sen’s residence Kamal Kutir on 21st September, 1879. This second photo was shot on 10th December 1881.
This photo of Thakur Sri Ramakrishna happens to be His Second photo, which was taken at Bengal Photographer’s Studio in Radhabazar (Near Dalhousie Square, Calcutta) on 10th December 1881.

রাধাবাজারে বেঙ্গল ফটোগ্রাফার্স স্টুডিও
শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুরকে সুরেন্দ্রনাথ মিত্র এখানে ফটো তোলা কিরূপে হয় দেখাইবার পর শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুরের দণ্ডায়মান ও সমাধিস্থ অবস্থায় ফটো তোলেন। এইটি শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুরের দ্বিতীয় চিত্র। প্রথম চিত্রটি কমল কুটিরে শ্রী কেশব চন্দ্র সেনের উদ্যোগে ২১শে সেপ্টেম্বর ১৮৭৯ সালে তোলা হয়েছিল। এই দ্বিতীয় চিত্রটি তোলা হয়েছিল ১০ই ডিসেম্বর, ১৮৮১ সালে।
