Barrackpore Chanke Annapurna Temple
On 12th April 1875, Smt. Jagadamba, the pious wife of Mathur Babu established this temple at Chanke located in the southern part of Barrackpore on the bank of the river Ganges.The Annapurna Vigraha (image of deity Annapurna) was installed in the temple. Sri Sri Thakur went there during the consecration (image placement inside the temple) ceremony.
ব্যারাকপুর চানকে অন্নপূর্ণা মন্দির
ব্যারাকপুরের দক্ষিণে গঙ্গাতীরবর্তী চানকে এই মন্দির ১৮৭৫ খ্রীষ্টাব্দের ১২ই এপ্রিল মথুরবাবুর ভক্তিমতী স্ত্রী শ্রীমতী জগদম্বা কর্তৃক প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়। মন্দিরমধ্যে ৺অন্নপূর্ণাবিগ্রহ স্থাপিত হইয়াছিল। প্রতিষ্ঠা কার্যের সময় শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুর সেখানে গিয়াছিলেন।
