At present the place is paved, around a huge peepal tree, and on a small plaque it is inscribed as the place of Paramahansa’s meditation.

এই মন্দির প্রতিষ্ঠার জন্য রানী রাসমণি ১৮৪৭ খ্রীষ্টাব্দের ৬ই সেপ্টেম্বর সাড়ে চুয়ান্ন বিঘা জমি ও কুঠিবাড়িটি বিয়াল্লিশ হাজার পাঁচশত টাকায় ক্রয় করেন। এই বিস্তৃত ভূখণ্ড ও কুঠিবাড়িটি প্রথমে ইংরেজ এটর্নি জেমস হেসটি সাহেবের ছিল।
On way to Arambagh, this village is located about 4 miles south-east of Kamarpukur. Sri Sri Thakur once came to the registry office here to register the land bought in the name of Lord Raghuvir.
It has been mentioned in the footnote dated 2nd April 1882 in Kathamrita that Sri Sri Thakur, on his way back after enjoying Kirtan at Shihor Shyambazar, attended Saptami Aarati (vesper service) of Durga Puja at the home of the Bhadras in Kotalpur village. This village is located 6 to 7 miles north of Jayarambati.
Two combined villages near Phului-Shyambazar are called Kayapat-Badanganj village. Sri Sri Thakur had once come to this village for treatment of splenomegaly. In 1880, he participated here in the singing of Kirtan (glorifying God through song).
This village is located 5 to 6 miles west-south of Kamarpukur. While staying at Hridayram’s house in Shihor, Sri Sri Thakur came to know Sri Natabar Goswami of this village. Once Sri Goswami took him to his house. Both he and his wife served Sri Sri Thakur with great devotion.
Sri Sri Thakur once attended Kirtan (glorifying God through song) at Fului-Shyambazar neighbouring Belte village. Under the arrangements of Sri Natabar Goswami, non-stop Kirtan was performed day and night for consecutive seven days.
Gadadhar’s maternal uncle’s place is located in this village six miles east of Arambagh.
In one of the trips back to Kamarpukur, Sri Sri Thakur and Sri Sri Ma accompanied by Hriday spent three nights at this village in a newly built house of a devotee by the name Modak. In spite of reluctance of Hriday because of torrential rain of monsoon, Sri Sri Thakur stayed in Modak’s house for three nights in his newly built house to fulfill the prayer of this devotee and during his stay the local people were fortunate to listen to his spiritual talks and feel blessed.
The temple of Goddess Vishalakshmi is located in Aanur village. Once, while accompanying the women devotees of Kamarpukur to visit the temple, Gadadhar experienced Bhava Samadhi (devotional ecstasy). He became normal after the women devotees started praying earnestly to the Goddess. Gadadhar and the devotees thereafter did their darshan (auspicious sight) and puja (worshipping) of Ma Vishalakshmi and returned back to Kamarpukur.
