Sri Vrindavan and Mathura Dham
In 1868, Sri Sri Thakur returned from Prayag to Kashi and after a fortnight, went to Vrindavan and Mathura Dham with Mathurbabu. He also brought with him Bhairabi Brahmani from Kashi. Brahmani spent the rest of her life in Vrindavan Dham and left for heavenly abode from there. At various occasions in Kathamrita, Sri Sri Thakur used to tell his devotees about Mathura and Vrindavan. On way to Vrindavan, they would stop at Mathura and visit all the sacred places. At Dhruva Ghat, Sri Sri Thakur had divine darshan (vision) of ‘Bal Gopala’ (newborn Krishna) crossing the Yamuna being carried in the basket of Vasudeva. Here he had vision of ‘Rakhal (cowherd) Krishna’ in his dream. In Vrindavan, he stayed at ‘Chaitanya Faujdar Kunj’ near the temple of Sri Sri Govindaji. Thakur used to have spiritual ecstasy by the divine vision in his mind of Sri Krishna returning to Vrindavan with the cowherd boys by wading through river Yamuna with the cows. After visiting Govindaji’s temple, he did not want to see Govindaji again. At the sight of Bankubihari, he was overwhelmed with emotion. As soon as he saw Govardhana Giri (hill), he climbed to its top and lost all outward consciousness. The pandas (pilgrimage guides) held him carefully and slowly brought him down. With Hriday, he went to visit Shyamkund and Radhakund in a palanquin. Overwhelmed with emotion and ecstasy, he often used to lose control on himself and wanted to jump out of the palanquin. Hriday would go with the palanquin carriers and used to tell them to remain careful all the time. In these divine playgrounds, Sri Sri Thakur used to feel the absence of Krishna and cry uncontrollably wetting his clothes. He would cry and say, ‘Everything is there except for you. Where are you O Krishna?
শ্রী বৃন্দাবন ও মথুরাধাম
১৮৬৮ খ্রীষ্টাব্দে প্রয়াগ হইতে কাশীতে ফিরিয়া এক পক্ষকাল পরে শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুর মথুরবাবুর সঙ্গে ৺বৃন্দাবন ও মথুরাধামে আগমন করিয়াছিলেন। ভৈরবী ব্রাহ্মণীকেও তিনি কাশী হইতে লইয়া আসিয়াছিলেন। ব্রাহ্মণী ৺বৃন্দাবন ধামে শেষ জীবন অতিবাহিত করিয়া এখানেই দেহত্যাগ করেন। বিভিন্ন সময়ে কথামৃতে শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুর তাঁহার মথুরা ও বৃন্দাবনের কথা ভক্তদের বলিতেন। বৃন্দাবনের পথে মথুরায় নামিয়া তাঁহারা লীলাস্থানসমূহ দর্শন করেন। শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুর ধ্রুব ঘাটে বসুদেবের কোলে শিশু কৃষ্ণের যমুনা পার হওয়া ভাবচক্ষে দর্শন করিয়াছিলেন। এখানে স্বপ্নে রাখালকৃষ্ণকে দর্শন করিয়াছিলেন। বৃন্দাবনে আসিয়া তিনি শ্রীশ্রীগোবিন্দজীর মন্দিরের নিকট বাড়িতে — চৈতন্য ফৌজদার কুঞ্জে ছিলেন। বৃন্দাবনে ফিরতি গোষ্ঠে শ্রীকৃষ্ণ গোপালবালকদের সহিত ধেনু লইয়া যমুনা পার হইতেছেন — ভাবচক্ষে শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুর দর্শন করিয়া বিহ্বল হইতেন। ৺গোবিন্দজীর মন্দির দর্শন করিবার পর পুনরায় গোবিন্দজীকে দেখিতে চাহেন নাই। ৺বঙ্কুবিহারীকে দেখিয়া ভাব হইয়াছিল। গোবর্ধন গিরি দেখামাত্রই ছুটিয়া উহার উপর উঠিয়া বিহ্বল ও বাহ্যশূন্য হন। পাণ্ডারা ধীরে ধীরে নামাইয়া আনিয়াছিল। পালকি করিয়া ৺শ্যামকুণ্ড ও ৺রাধাকুণ্ড দর্শনে হৃদয়ের সঙ্গে গিয়াছিলেন। পালকিতে ভাবাবেগে বিহ্বল হইয়া অনেক সময় পালকি হইতে লাফাইয়া পড়িতে চাহেন। হৃদয় বেহারাদের সঙ্গে সঙ্গে যাইতেন ও তাহাদের খুব সাবধান করিয়া দিয়াছিলেন। এইসব লীলাস্থলের পথে কৃষ্ণের বিরহে শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুরের চোখের জলে কাপড় ভিজিয়া যাইত। তিনি কাঁদিতে কাঁদিতে বলিতেন, ‘সেইসব আছে, কৃষ্ণরে তুই কোথায়?
