Jayrambati
Birthplace of Sri Sri Ma Sarda Devi. The village is located on the banks of the river Amodar, twenty-seven miles away from Bishnupur railway station and sixty-three miles from Kolkata via Tarakeswar. Sri Sri Ma was born in this house on 22nd December 1853, on the seventh day of Agrahayan, Krishna Saptami tithi. Her father’s name was Ramchandra Mukhopadhyay and mother Shyama Sundari Devi. She was married to Sri Sri Thakur in the first half of May, 1859. After marriage, Thakur visited this house several times. At present, the idol of Sri Sri Ma has been installed in a spacious temple on Mother’s birthplace. Besides daily puja (worship) of Ma, pujas are performed on special occasions and festivals.

শ্রীশ্রীমা সারদাদেবীর জন্মস্থান। বিষ্ণুপুর রেলওয়ে স্টেশন হইতে সাতাশ মাইল দূরে আমোদর নদের পার্শ্বে এই গ্রাম অবস্থিত। কলিকাতা হইতে সোজাপথে তারকেশ্বর হইয়া তেষট্টি মাইল। এখানে ১৮৫৩ খ্রীষ্টাব্দের ২২শে ডিসেম্বর, অগ্রাহায়ণ কৃষ্ণা সপ্তমী তিথিতে পিতা রামচন্দ্র মুখোপাধ্যায় ও মাতা শ্যামা সুন্দরী দেবীর গৃহে শ্রীশ্রীমা আবির্ভূতা হন। ১৮৫৯ খ্রীষ্টাব্দে মে মাসের প্রথমার্ধে শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুরের সহিত তাঁহার শুভ বিবাহ হয়। বিবাহের পরও ঠাকুর কয়েকবার এখানে আসিয়াছিলেন। বর্তমানে মায়ের জন্মস্থানের উপর একটি প্রশস্ত মন্দিরে শ্রীশ্রীমায়ের মূর্তি প্রতিষ্ঠিত হইয়া নিত্যপূজা ও উৎসবাদিতে বিশেষ পূজার অনুষ্ঠান হইয়া থাকে।.
