Shiva Temple of the Yugis –

To the north of Sri Ramakrishna’s house is the Shiva Temple of the Yugis. Divine light emanated from the Lingamurthi (symbol of merging of Prakriti the ‘primordial matter’ with Purusha the ‘pure consciousness’) of Bhagwan Mahadeva and entered in the form of waves into the body of Chandra Devi standing in front of the temple and Sri Sri Thakur was born from it. Madhu Yugi’s house was in the north-east corner of this temple.

যুগীদের শিব মন্দির

শ্রীরামকৃষ্ণের বাড়ির উত্তরে যুগীদের শিব মন্দির। এই মন্দিরের মহাদেবের লিঙ্গমূর্তি হইতে দিব্যজ্যোতি নির্গত হইয়া বায়ুর ন্যায় তরঙ্গাকারে মন্দিরের সম্মুখে দণ্ডায়মান চন্দ্রাদেবীর দেহে প্রবেশ করে এবং উহা হইতেই শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুরের জন্ম। এই মন্দিরে উত্তর-পূর্ব কোণে মধু যুগীর বাড়ি ছিল।
