Kuthibari
Rani Rashmoni, Mathurbabu and later their heirs used to live here when they visited Dakshineswar. Sri Sri Thakur lived for 16 long years (1855 to 1871) in a room in the westside of this house. After the death of his nephew Akshay, he shifted to the room on the north-west side of the temple premises and lived there for the last 14 years (1871 to 1885). He used to give fervent calls to his future disciples from above the roof of Kuthibari.

কুঠিবাড়ি
রানী রাসমণি, মথুরবাবু ও পরে তাঁহাদের উত্তরাধিকারীগণ দক্ষিনেশ্বরে আসিলে এখানে বাস করিতেন। শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুর এই কুঠিবাড়ির পশ্চিমের ঘরে ১৮৫৫ থেকে ১৮৭১ খ্রীস্টাব্দ পর্যন্ত দীর্ঘ ১৬ বৎসর বাস করিয়াছিলেন। পরে ভ্রাতুষ্পুত্র অক্ষয়ের দেহত্যাগের পর মন্দির প্রাঙ্গণের উত্তর-পশ্চিম দিকের ঘরটিতে শেষ ১৪ বৎসর বাস করেন। এই কুঠিবাড়ির ছাদ হইতেই তিনি তাঁর ভাবী শিষ্যদের আহ্বান করিয়াছিলেন।
